Under the directives of the Chancellor/Governor of Balochistan, a significant event took place from May 16-18, 2023—the VC's Focal Persons Workshop, intending to address financial, academic, and administrative matters in public sector universities. Led by Acting Vice Chancellor Dr. Abdul Rehman Khan.
The workshop promoted collaboration and knowledge exchange among participants. Key recommendations included strengthening financial planning, enhancing academic quality, streamlining administrative processes, promoting effective governance, and fostering collaboration with industry. These recommendations should be considered during the upcoming Vice Chancellor’s conference on May 19-20, 2023, to develop action plans aligned with the universities' vision and mission. Implementation of these recommendations will contribute to the universities' overall performance, reputation, and competitiveness while advancing society through education and research.
