Teaching and Learning Activities At Buitems Society School By The Department Of Education

Since May 2024 the Department of Education, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities has taken over the BUITEMS Society School in term of teaching, learning and school management. This action demonstrates the department's dedication to social responsibility and volunteerism, which are directly aligned with the goals of department. Total number of students were ninety-two and the teaching staff were only three who were serving there. Keeping in view the identified need the Department of Education has shown the commitment to extend teaching learning activities to facilitate the BUITEMS Society School.

On Friday, October 4-2024, The Vice Chancellor, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Dean FSS&H, Chairperson of the Department of Education, Deans, and Directors visited the BUITEMS Society School. During the visit, they interacted with the children and observed the Department of Education students actively conducting classes and delivering their well-prepared lesson plans. The faculty and administration commended the ongoing efforts of the Department for its dedication to promoting quality education and hands-on learning experiences for future educators. Furthermore, the visit included a plantation drive, where the visitors, faculty, and students all participated in planting trees, reinforcing the university's commitment to environmental sustainability. The event showcased the university's holistic approach to education, combining academic excellence with social responsibility.
