On October 5, 2023, the Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering, and Management Sciences (BUITEMS) celebrated its 21st Anniversary, coinciding with World Teachers' Day. The evening, curated by the Directorate of Student Affairs, was a vibrant celebration that brought together students, faculty, and staff.
The festivities began with a joyful cake-cutting ceremony, graced by the presence of the Vice Chancellor, Registrar, and Director of Students Affairs who, along with students, led the celebrations. Subsequently, the presidents of 16 student clubs showcased their remarkable achievements and contributions to BUITEMS, earning praise from the Vice Chancellor. He also shared personal anecdotes from his academic journey, highlighting the importance of student engagement, and commended the Student Affairs office.
In his address, the Vice Chancellor emphasized, "Today, we proudly celebrate BUITEMS' 21st Anniversary, a testament to our unwavering determination and commitment to excellence. The significance of this day is magnified as we honor World Teachers' Day. Our institution's dedication to quality education makes a meaningful impact. Together, we can overcome any challenges and build on our strengths. My gratitude extends to students, alumni, faculty, staff, partners, and stakeholders, who have made BUITEMS a distinguished brand in higher education."
He also extended warm wishes to the faculty on Teachers' Day, acknowledging their tireless efforts in transforming students' lives and fulfilling families' aspirations.
A symbolic Tree Plantation Drive was inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor, with university Deans and Directors planting trees bearing their names. This act underlined BUITEMS' commitment to sustainability and left a lasting legacy.
