Housing is one of the most vital requirements for human survival alongside food and clothing. In developing countries, the need for housing is increasing rapidly due to the increase in population. However, due to the increase in the cost of construction materials, the construction of a house for the middle and lower-middle class is becoming difficult.
The government of Pakistan has taken the initiative to overcome this problem with the help of industry and academia partnerships. BUITEMS is leading this cause in Balochistan. The faculty of the Civil Engineering Department is researching different local materials to provide a safe and affordable solution to the people.
