Today, a momentous occasion unfolded as Chief Secretary Balochistan officially launched the long-awaited Green Bus Service at BUITEMS, Quetta. The Worthy Vice Chancellor of BUITEMS, Dr. Khalid Hafeez, Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Abdul Rehman Khan, Registrar BUITEMS Dr. Zahid Rauf, and the senior team members were present on this occasion.
The introduction of the Air Conditioned Green Bus service comes as a fulfillment of a promise made by the Government to address the transportation needs of the people of Quetta. For years, the citizens have yearned for this service, and their aspirations are now being realized. This eco-friendly mode of travel is expected to revolutionize the daily commutes of the citizens, providing ease and convenience, and improving their overall quality of life. The challenges faced by the residents in accessing workplaces, educational institutes, and essential healthcare services will be alleviated, thanks to the launch of the Green Bus Service.
This marks a historic milestone for Balochistan, as modern and comfortable transportation is finally made available to the heart of the province, our beloved capital, Quetta.
