MoU was signed between BUITEMS and Islamic Relief Pakistan (IRP) at a ceremony held at BUITEMS. The MoU was signed by Dr. Abdul Rehman Khan, Pro Vice Chancellor of BUITEMS, and Mr. Anwar Adil, Area Program Manager of IRP. The event was chaired by BUITEMS Vice Chancellor, Dr. Khalid Hafiz, and attended by faculty members and representatives from both institutions.
The partnership will focus on collaborative research and development, including applied and community-based research projects, the organization of conferences and seminars, and technical support for research publications. Both BUITEMS and IRP will also engage in joint research proposals and knowledge-sharing initiatives, with potential benefits for students and faculty members alike.
Key activities outlined in the MoU include student orientation sessions, staff training, technical support, and joint research ventures. Additionally, BUITEMS and IRP will collaborate on knowledge-sharing events and internship opportunities for students, ensuring valuable practical experience. An Environmental Forum of Students will also be established to promote awareness on climate change and environmental sciences, supported by Islamic Relief Pakistan.
