The much-anticipated All Balochistan HEC Cricket Zone Event concluded in a thrilling final between the two most formidable teams of the tournament—BUITEMS from Pool A and the University of Turbat from Pool B. In an intense showdown, BUITEMS, batting first, set a challenging target of 237 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 35 overs. Despite high hopes and a fighting spirit, the University of Turbat struggled to chase the target, ultimately being bowled out for just 93 runs. With this commanding performance, BUITEMS clinched the title and firmly marked their place as champions of the finals.
The closing ceremony was graced by several notable dignitaries. Dr. Ehsanullah Khan Kakar, Vice Chancellor of the University of Loralai, was the Chief Guest. He was joined by Mr. Junaid Khan, Sports Director of Lasbela University; Mr. Masood Ahmed Kasi, Additional Director of Sports, BUITEMS; Mr. Munir, Sports Incharge of the University of Turbat; Mr. Sher Hassan Jogezai, Assistant Sports Officer of Loralai University; and Mr. Akmal Khan Khilji, the Event Manager, all of whom played an instrumental role in making the event a success.
During his speech, Vice Chancellor Dr. Ehsanullah Khan Kakar congratulated BUITEMS on their outstanding victory and commended the University of Turbat for their remarkable journey to the finals, praising their sportsmanship and dedication for traveling to Loralai. He also extended his heartfelt appreciation to Mr. Sher Hassan Jogezai and Mr. Akmal Khan Khilji for their exceptional efforts in organizing the event and ensuring smooth operations. The Vice Chancellor wished BUITEMS the best of luck in their upcoming national competitions and expressed gratitude to all the universities across Balochistan for their participation.
