a delegation of 26 officers from various federal and provincial government departments, along with 06 faculty members from the National Institute of Management (NIM), Quetta, visited the Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences (BUITEMS) as part of the 39th Mid-Career Management Course (MCMC). This course, organized by NIM, is designed to prepare government officers for promotions to higher grades, enhancing their management skills.
The visiting group, led by Syed Farzand Ali, Additional Directing Staff (Coord), and Syed Usman, Additional Directing Staff (NIM), was warmly received by BUITEMS officials.
The delegation was given a tour of the following key directorates and facilities at BUITEMS:
• National Incubation Centre (NIC)
• Youth Development Centre (YDC)
• Data Centre
• Smart Classroom
• Central Library, Takatu Campus
• Directorate of University Advancement and Financial Assistance (UA&FA)
• Other BUITEMS Facilities
Following the tour, a comprehensive presentation on BUITEMS achievements, ongoing projects, and future plans was delivered in the Video Conference Room. The session was chaired by Dr. Abdul Rehman Khan, Pro-Vice Chancellor of BUITEMS, who welcomed the participants and congratulated them on their progress in the Mid-Career Management Course.
An interactive Q&A session followed the presentation, where participants engaged with the Pro-Vice Chancellor, Deans, and Directors of BUITEMS, discussing various topics related to university operations and management.
In his closing remarks, Syed Farzand Ali, Additional Directing Staff (Coord) at NIM, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the BUITEMS administration for organizing an insightful and informative visit for the MCMC participants. The visit provided the officers with valuable exposure to BUITEMS state-of-the-art facilities and innovative educational programs.
