The Balochistan Women Promote Talent Award Ceremony, organized by Balochistan Women Promote Talent in collaboration with the Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) of the Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences (BUITEMS), celebrated the outstanding achievements and contributions of women in education, research, leadership, innovation, administration, and community service.
The event was organized by Tayyab Shah, Organizer of Balochistan Women Promote Talent, in collaboration with ORIC-BUITEMS. It brought together distinguished guests, including Jaffar Khan Mandokhail, Governor of Balochistan; Engr. Prof. Khalid Hafeez, Vice Chancellor, BUITEMS; and Prof. Dr. Arbab Mirwais Kasi, Pro Vice Chancellor, BUITEMS, along with the Consul General of Iran, deans, faculty members, university officials, and other guests.
The ceremony highlighted the accomplishments of female students and employees of BUITEMS, recognizing their dedication, professional excellence, and contributions to academic and institutional development. Awards covered a range of categories, including Outstanding Female Student Contribution, Best Female Teacher, Best Female Administrator, Best Female Researcher, Best Entrepreneur and Philanthropist, Climate and Environment Stewardship, SDG Leadership Excellence, Emerging Technologies in Life Sciences Research, and Lifetime Achievement.
The event underscored the importance of empowering women through quality education, research opportunities, professional recognition, and leadership development. The achievements celebrated at the ceremony reflected women’s growing contributions to scientific advancement, technological innovation, environmental sustainability, entrepreneurship, and community development across Balochistan.
