As part of our commitment to environmental sustainability and community engagement, the students of BS Public Administration (6th Semester), BUITEMS Quetta, organized and successfully executed a Tree Plantation Activity on April 17, 2025.
The activity was conducted under the esteemed supervision of Dr. Rukia Magsi, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Management Sciences (FMS), BUITEMS Quetta, and took place near BUITEMS Markhor Auditorium.
Over 50 trees were planted at key locations across the BUITEMS Quetta campus with the aim of enhancing ecological balance, improving air quality, and promoting a culture of environmental responsibility. The event was further enriched by the active participation and moral support of several faculty members.
Their presence and involvement not only motivated the students but also emphasized the significance of collective efforts in creating a greener, healthier campus. The primary objective of the activity was to raise awareness among students about environmental conservation and the vital role each individual can play in addressing the challenges of environmental degradation.
Given the growing concerns over climate change, pollution, and the loss of green spaces, such initiatives are essential for securing a sustainable future. This activity served as a practical educational experience, bridging academic learning with real-world action, while also encouraging environmental stewardship, leadership, and teamwork among students.
