The Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences (BUITEMS) successfully hosted the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) Program Evaluation Team for the re-accreditation of its BS Geological Engineering and BS Textile Engineering programs. The two-day visit, held on September 1–2, 2025, was conducted under the PEC Manual of Accreditation 2019.

During their visit, the evaluation team thoroughly reviewed BUITEMS’ academic programs, course curricula, laboratories, teaching methodologies, final-year projects, and quality assurance mechanisms. They interacted with faculty, students, alumni, and employers to assess learning outcomes and program relevance to industry needs.
The visiting experts appreciated BUITEMS’ commitment to academic quality, state-of-the-art facilities, and student-centered learning. They commended the university’s focus on research-driven teaching, faculty development, and continuous quality improvement. The PEC team also acknowledged BUITEMS’ emphasis on industry linkages, internships, and practical exposure to prepare graduates for national and global challenges.
The successful completion of this re-accreditation visit reflects BUITEMS’ dedication to excellence in engineering education and its alignment with national and international academic standards.
