BUITEMS Hosts Leadership Development Session for Higher Education Administrators

Quetta, May 28, 2025 – The Directorate of Quality Enhancement & Accreditation (DQEA), BUITEMS, successfully organized a professional development session titled “Leadership Development for Higher Education Administrators”, bringing together academic leaders from across the university to engage in strategic discussions on effective governance and academic leadership.

The session was held at the Training Hall, BUITEMS, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and was specifically designed for Deans, Directors, and Chairpersons to strengthen institutional leadership capacity and promote a culture of continuous improvement in higher education.

Renowned Facilitators from LUMS Lead the Training

The session was facilitated by two distinguished experts from the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS):
• Prof. Dr. Jawad Syed, an internationally recognized scholar in leadership and organizational behavior
• Prof. Dr. Zahoor Hassan, an expert in strategic management and academic governance

Both facilitators delivered high-impact training focused on key themes such as visionary leadership, academic planning, team management, institutional effectiveness, and navigating change in higher education institutions.

The session provided an interactive platform for BUITEMS leadership to:
